Material Resume
Material Resume is a material design resume template for professionals who want to showcase their work experience, projects and education. This free HTML template is perfect for students and job seeker to showcase your skills, work experience, education and protfolio to potential employers. The template has modern and responsive design and is easy to edit, customize and extend as per your CV profile needs.
This resume website template is built with Bootstrap and MDB. It includes sections to showcase your bio, professional skills (with animated bars), work experience (with timeline), education and contact details. Sections to display your portfolio and references are also added. Your photo along with your name and “hire me” call to action buttons are displayed prominently in the header. A button to allow your visitors to download your resume is also present. Social media buttons are present for letting your visitors and potential recruiters find you on social media sites. You can add more social channels using the FontAwesome icons included with the template.
The template sections can be easily edited for adding your own details in the HTML file as per your own needs. We have added subtle animations in the portfolio page which gets played on scrolling.
A contact section is provided which has a working contact form utilizing the free service offered by Formspree. Sign up for a free account with them, create a form with your email address and change the URL of the form in the HTML. You will start receiving contact form submissions without needing any backend or email service provider. Google map has also been embedded which you can update for your own location.
The template displays perfectly on every screen size and responds well to window size changes. You can even take print out of this website template and save the print as PDF to create your downloadable resume.
Print Instructions
To print the template as PDF, set the paper size to "A4", scale to "62%", Margins to "Default" or "1cm" or "0.4inch" and turn on background graphics. Here is a screenshot of print settings you can use. If you have added or removed sections, then you may need to change the scale accordingly to make it fit inside pages. Do make sure that you are using a modern browser like Google Chrome for printing the template.
