This is a modern and responsive starting soon landing page that features a video background behind a countdown timer. If you are launching a product or your website then this easy to edit template is a perfect fit for announcing the launch date with a timer.
This starting soon is a website under constrcution template based on Bootstrap. You can edit the template to add your own product or website information. Launch time for the countdown timer can also be modified easily in the main.js file included in the template.
The template features a full width video background and overlays the landing page text and a countdown timer at center of the page. The template displays perfectly on every screen size including mobile devices.
Included with the template are Font Awesome based social icons to display your own social profiles. Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Instagram icons are added by default. You can change or add any social platform icons using the Font Awesome icons.
A sample video background and matching background image is also provided with the template. Until the video is downloaded, the included matching picture gets shown. You can easily replace these files in the template.
The background video can be replace by changing the “.mp4” file videos folder. You can find videos on free stock videos sites.
The background image can also be easily replaced by changing the “cover.jpg” image inside ‘img’ folder. You can take screenshot of the video if you are unable to find a matching image. If needed, the background video can be removed and just the background image can be kept.
To edit the launch countdown time, simply edit the “main.js” file to add a value for “eventTime” similar to the example provided. Do make sure to add your GMT timezone too as given in the example to show correct time all over the world. Once you add your eventTime, the countdown timer will automatically start showing the time remaining.
